Back on January 11, we published our first full Palantir forecast.

Like every forecast we publish, it was built around a longer structural arc: identify where the underlying forces are pointing before the market finishes pricing them, then let the path unfold.

That distinction has mattered repeatedly.

We saw the Iran confrontation before the strikes began.

We mapped the oil shock before crude exploded, then stayed focused on the broader trajectory as the panic took over.

We stayed with gold through multiple violent resets, and that thesis is now coming back into focus again.

We identified parts of the software market that were being misclassified during the selloff, and several of those names are beginning to recover as the market starts separating structural winners from the rest of the category.

Palantir has followed its own version of that sequence.

After our January forecast, the stock went through months of pressure. We did not rush to rewrite the map because the price moved against it in the short term.

Now, seven months later, the picture has changed.

Palantir just delivered its most consequential quarter since we issued the original forecast, the stock has come roaring back, and several questions that were still unresolved in January can finally be answered with much more confidence.

That means the forecast needs an update.

Below, we revisit the original call, separate what has actually changed from what has not, rebuild the year-end 2026 probability map from current conditions, and look at the larger question beginning to form beyond it.
